Eric and his Team do an awesome job. The drop off and pickup was seamless and I loved how easy the payment was online (I was able to use Apple Pay). I also really included the online inspection report. I highly recommend!

I have lots of trust in Eric's Repair. What I have found if I get something in my car fixed there, it will be done to their high standards.

We’ve been bringing our cars to Eric’s Repair for several years now, and they’ve taken great care of not just my vehicle, but both of my daughters’ cars as well. They’re consistently trustworthy, reliable, and very fair on pricing—which means a lot when you’re maintaining multiple vehicles.
One thing that really stands out is their communication. Their digital platform makes it easy to review diagnostics, approve recommended services, and even handle payment seamlessly. It’s transparent, convenient, and gives you real confidence in the work being done.
It’s rare to find a shop you can genuinely rely on, and we truly appreciate the team at Eric’s Repair. Highly recommended.

Super honest and knowledgeable staff. I brought in a car for a pre purchase inspection and was booked and ready to pay for 2 hrs of labor. They stopped the inspection early and pointed out lots of problems, saving me from a costly purchase. They even knocked off labor time and cost because they finished so fast, even though they didn’t need to. Highly recommended and appreciate their honesty.

I brought my 2013 Kia Optima in for a no-crank issue and told them up front I suspected the starter. Before authorizing the diagnostic, I specifically asked: “If I get the starter replaced here, will the diagnostic fee be waived?” I was told yes.
After they checked the car, they said nothing showed up in the diagnostic. I still chose to replace the starter there since that was the issue I originally came in for. At that point I was told the diagnostic could not be waived because the starter “didn’t show up in the diagnostic.” I tried to clarify that I had asked about the starter repair specifically before authorizing the diagnostic, but that concern was dismissed and the fee was still charged.
Another issue was being told my oil was about a quart low and very dark. When I checked the oil myself after getting the car back, the level was full and the oil did not appear unusually dark (I had changed it 4 months earlier).
I also asked about the $350 price for the starter part alone (not including labor). When I mentioned that many aftermarket starters for this vehicle are commonly available in the $50–$100 range, the response I received was essentially “feel free to replace it yourself,” which felt very dismissive considering they already had my vehicle in the shop.
Because of the communication issues, the handling of the diagnostic fee, and the attitude I experienced when asking reasonable questions about pricing, I would recommend going somewhere else. If you are not very experienced with cars, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to services.

This will be a positive review :)
Where to start? Hmmm, I used to deliver auto parts mainly to Bloomington MN as well as other surrounding cities. Let’s just say you get to know the ins and outs of companies pretty good when get to meet the crews and see how things are ran and operated in the back. I do believe Eric’s Repair speaks for itself as you can see the customers they have and the business they bring in, but in all honesty they were on a very small list of Garages/shops I trust! That list contains about 4 shops out of I dunno, 40-50 places I would feel comfortable bringing any of vehicles to. Eric himself is such a great and generous person and the crew I met around him are very up front and honest. they are only human and stuff may go wrong from time to time but fortunately for me that was not case and I believe that will rarely be the case for anyone.
In the process of my truck getting the work done they have an awesome portal that keeps you informed of everything going including the inspection and what they feel is needed to be done. Pics and all ✅ you can basically handle everything there if you choose to. Secure payment as well. I did bring my truck in at the end of the week and I expected it to go into Late Monday or even Tuesday (depending on what parts were readily available) lucky for me all went smooth and was ready Monday Morning :)
I did not get the most extensive work done but they did do a handful of things that could be pretty time consuming to us folks without the lifts and fancy tools ;)
Overall it was a very stressless experience and I would have no issue returning. Cost was fair and upfront, meaning you get told what is expected and you decide what is in your means.
think that about covers my recent visit and hope this helps. Keep up the Great Work over there @ Eric’s Repair ! You Guys are a breath of Fresh air to the south Metro !!!

Very pleased with these guys. I have a mid 60's classic car that I've had them work on. They've gone over and above to take care of any issues with car. Not many of these shops left to work on older cars.

Even after a little mishap with scheduling (which of course put me into a mild panic), the gentlemen at Eric’s have *the* most stellar customer service and told me they’d do their best to make it work. They were able to still take care of my vehicle that day! Communication was incredible and honest throughout the process and I love the digital quotes with photos and recommendations.
I (regrettably) had gone to a different shop for a quick oil change recently and they gave me a quote to have brakes and rotors replaced. I knew I didn’t want to have this shop do it either way so I went to Eric’s and, on top of everything, they were even slightly less expensive which was an added bonus.
I trust them, I like them, and I highly recommend them.
